    this is kind of a general question as im sure it has alot of varibles like ammo, gun etc.

    assuming a bolt action or single shot gun as i understand it in a gun there are 2 sounds. sonic crack, explosion.

    is there a rule of thumb especially on 22s of what percentage of the sould is sonic, explosion,

    the suppressing a 22 mag thread got me thinking

    Take you rifle and shoot it at a target at about 100 yds. The sonic crack is the sound you here that seems to move down range. I will try to get a video for you today that shows both..
