Be interesting to see what SUV gets picked when nobody makes a suitable police car anymore.

I see a lot of Ford Explorer LE vehicles. I imagine they're a pretty capable all weather alternative with AWD.

TOur newest Chargers are 2012's. We've bought the last 2019 Ford Interceptor sedans in the country, they are done making them. Might be going to Charger AWD as they are the only sedan on the market now.

There are some 2014 Chargers in the fleet. They tried to give me one, but no shotgun rack and the trunk is smaller due to placement of electronics,
so I stayed in my '12.

Technically, GM still offers a police sedan via Holden, but I hear it's something like an 8 month lead time. It's nothing a department our size could realistically switch to. SUVs are the future. Maybe not this time around, but eventually.
