A new "survival" tv program will be starting on Tuesday, Sept. 1st on Spike tv @ 9:00pm CENTRAL time.

The program is called: "SURVIVING DISASTER"

Sorry, I didn't get a link, but if you type in Spike TV and Surviving Disaster, you should be able to find it and watch the trailor.

Thanks for the link. That will help others understand what the program is supposed to be about.

What do you think? Will it be "educational"? (Yeah, I know there's not much to go on yet.) Or will it just be "special effects"? :dunno:

i think it could be good and fairly educational. It supposedly will give good survival tips as well as showing things you can do that will adversely effect your chances to survive. I will be curious to see a few episodes and see how well they do, but I think it will be good.

Yeah, the trailer looks good. Did you see the one on the right? It shows a bunch of people on a bus and what appears to be a nuke (or some type of explosion).

I will be watching -and recording - just in case.

Hands down the best survival show on right now is The Best Defense Survival on the Outdoor Channel.

I agree. I just wish there was more time spent on each issue and less on selling thier goods. (Although I do understand that those "goods" are what bring us the program.)
