Thinkin hard about picking up a Smith 1911 sku # 108282 for my collection. I would like to here the likes/gripes from some folks that actually own one. They go for about 849.99 at my usual spot, how does this compare to what youve seen or what you paid? Thanks in advance!

Check their website for rebates on their 1911s. If they don't then wait until Friday to see if they are coming out with one. They had a $100 rebate on 1911s last year.

I have a S+W scandium commanders length 1911 and am very pleased with it. Just an all around great shooter. Mine is very accurate and has had no FTF or FTE. If they are all this way, I highly recommend them.
