Hi Gang, 2 years ago me and the wife were antique shopping and I came across this 1860's 70's Swiss army poster. I thought it was pretty cool.
Notice how tight the belts were on these men, the era of the corset?.

A Swiss parade with the early army uniforms, etc... Notice how clean everything is in this town, nice. ( Picts from Guisan on SR.com)

Speaking of how clean the town is, looks like the Swiss are like the Germans. I was in Germany in 1970 and even in the really poor sections, they were spotless. They went out in the mornings and would even sweep down the streets. These people were awesome. Poor as hell, but clean.
