    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri][FONT=Calibri,Calibri]Fortress is offering a one-day Tactical Treatment of Gunshot Wound course, designed to give you the tools and techniques you need to stabilize a gunshot would for the 3-30min it takes for EMS to arrive. In today’s world this is MUST have information for every American! [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]The day will be split into two parts: [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- 9am till 1pm will be the medical treatment portion; cost is $100 per student. [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- 1pm till 5pm will be the (indoor) "simulated live fire" portion. This is offered to those who wish to apply what they have learned to active shooter scenarios and learn wound treatment under fire. [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]Cost is an additional $40 per student. (Check via mail or Paypal via our website) You must attend the morning portion in order to attend the afternoon.[/FONT]

    [/FONT]What all will need:
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri][FONT=Calibri,Calibri]-pen/pencil, note taking materials [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]-Protective eye wear [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- Lunch/snack/beverage (we don’t leave for lunch or breaks.) [/FONT]
    [/FONT]Additional equipment required for the "live fire" portion:
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri][FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- Airsoft pistol w/holster or airsoft rifle. Airsoft equipment is available for a $10 rental fee. [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- Hat with a brim, such as a baseball cap. Full face protection – Airsoft rated mask [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- Folding knife [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]- DO NOT bring live guns or ammunition into the classroom! [/FONT]
    [FONT=Calibri,Calibri]This course is for the novice, no medical training is required. [/FONT]

    I took this course a few years back with with a DocGun in Boone county. The course was very interesting and informative. Hope this helps some if your thinking about taking it.

    Doc is who mentored our staff in this material. We'll have an EMT instructing as well as myself.
