The FIVE rules of scissor safety:
    1) Scissors are always sharp
    2) Never point your scissors at something you don't want to cut
    3) Keep your fingers off the scissors until you are ready to cut
    4) Know your paper, and what is beneath it
    5) For the love of all things holy, DON'T RUN WITH YOUR SCISSORS

The worst part is when a five year old girl walks up and takes your scissors away from you.

I just feel that these new fangled scissors have no beauty, no character. Nothing feels like a pair of scssors with wood grips. I know it's an older design, but the workmanship that went into these is second to none, and my grandfatcher carried these scissors across the pacific in WWII.

I'd like a pair of those as well! Maybe I can get one with my C&R license.
