taurus 1911 +p ammo?

i own a taurus 1911 and just bought some hst +p 45 acp rounds for it is it ok to shoot these

I just read the manual, which as stated does not list any info regarding the use of +P ammunition. I've found the general theory is that "limited" use of +P ammo is okay, but not a steady diet of it. Hope that helps

Every round of +P ammo fired equals 2 rounds of standard pressure ammo as far as wear & tear on the weapon are concerned

It's not recommended for Taurus handguns, but they will shoot them fine. My suggestion and preference is to carry +P ammo, but target shoot with regular loads.
