I'm looking at the 22 mag....anyone have any info?

Good luck finding one... i have scoured the internet for weeks looking for one in 22 mag and they are nowhere to be found. I have the 942 in .22LR and love it. Actually purchased it for my wife and she loves it. I got the ultralight version 2 inch and its great. I think they actually had an UtraLight 3" inch 22mag for a short period but now only offer in all steel. Not sure.

I liked the older 942s and have had several over the years. The new ones seem functionally fine but the finish is pretty rough and the trigger pull is heavy. I also found the new grip style to be wildly uncomfortable for my hands. For the price you won't find a different snubby .22 mag (maybe a Charter Arms but they are 6 shot). The Ruger is $150 more but is much nicer in my opinion (if you like hammerless) and then there is also the Smith 351 but it's quite a bit more money.
