Taurus Titanium 85 Revolver

Ive been carrying my Taurus Titanium 85 revolver for several years. Lately I have noticed the finish on the cylinder is wearing and starting to look splotchy. Can the cylinder be refinished or replaced for a reasonable cost? I have not found a source for parts like cylinder. I think a darker colored cylinder would really make it look newer. It is not much to brag about for a carry gun, but I am compfortable with it and it is always with me.

I'd contact Taurus. In the long run, I'm sure it would be less expensive then trying to mess with a Smith.

I just called TaurusUSA.com repair number 305-624-1115 and they told me that they do not sell cylinders, that they are a restricted part. Huh???????

I looked around on the Internet, and the only complaint I find about these are the finishes wearing....
