Tax Refund

I'm getting my usual amount back from Fed. Usually owe the State, but this year I'm getting $18 back.

They actually lowered state taxes by .03% or somewhere around that.

I used HR Block software....filed on Jan 29 and had my refunds on Feb 5th. Fastest I have ever gotten it back. I used efile and not the US mail.

E filed via FreeTaxUSA 02/07, money in the bank 02/15, then on 02/16 the money was effectively gone when a check was sent to the State. First time in 25+ years there was no reason to itemize or pay for preparation. I'm beginning to like retired life.

I'm among the "I always owe at the end of the year" crowd.

First year Obama was in office was the first year I owed. I think it will be ironic if I get a refund this year.

No, it wasn't Obama's fault...but I found it ironic.

Just realized...this is 2nd Tax Season Trump is in office...so not as ironic. Paid last year too.
