TC Encore Scope

I have an Encore that i am going to put a scope on, with most of my other long guns i tend to stick with the Bushnell Banner line of scopes. They seem to hold up well, sight in easily, and are very economical. Does anyone else have another idea of a scope that fits what i have describe? Has anyone had any bad luck with the banners?

I have stuck with Nikon Pro Staff scopes on most of my Encore barrels. They have held up to some pretty good recoil from 12 gauge slug barrels, 500 S&W Katahdin and the 209x50 muzzleloaders.

on my encore I have the nikon omega scope.

seconds on Nikon Prostaff. I have several on my rifles from .44 mag up to .300 wsm. including a TC Omega. For the price you can't beat Nikon Prostaffs. Just MHO.

Ditto on the Nikon omega-can't beat it for the price and is calibrated for muzzle loaders.
