I was there recently, they have a screening station you have to go through. I said sorry, I need to go download my pistol and they had no problem with me returning to my vehicle and locking it there. I'd recommend downloading first as it's a long walk.

They're definitely banned from the whole campus. There are metal detectors and security personnel on entry but nothing on the drive in. I don't recommend chancing anything by even keeping the firearm in your vehicle, but that's up to you.
