First night: Half a dozen or so guys walk into lobby of Marriott at Oh-dark-thirty, pick up ATM, throw it in Dodge Magnum, drive away.
Following Night: Half a dozen or so guys walk into lobby of a different Marriott at Oh-dark-thirty, pick up ATM, throw it in Dodge Magnum, drive away.
Third Night: Lather, rinse, ....

The Marriott corporation has not yet said what it plans to do to prevent future ATM thefts.

I dunno, maybe start by bolting them to the floor.

You would think acquiring just one ATM would be a Ransom of Red Chief type situation

Genius thieves tried to yank an ATM from an exterior wall at Lafayette Square Mall with a pickup truck quite a few years ago. Not sure how they attached the cable/chain (?) to the ATM but it pulled the rear bumper off the truck. They fled the scene leaving the bumper there...........with the license plate attached. All of this was caught on the ATM video. A "suspect" was arrested a few hours later when he tried to report the truck stolen.
