"Arrested?" He'll probably get a visit, but there no legitimate legal reason for arrest, unless there is a credible threat to the president. We don't do thing like that here... at least we're not supposed to.

No, that's not sufficient enough to make it a threat, at least how the law is observed. A levied threat, which would be arrestable, must be quite specific.

Here, I'll give you an example. If someone said, "I'm going to come over to your house tomorrow and shoot you in the face with my glock." That's a credible, arrestable, threat. If someone says "I wish you were dead, you better watch your back," it lacks the specifics to to be credible. Now, if you called the police, a report would be taken, and the person would be warned, but no arrest. Let say you and you neighbor got into it. If you dressed a dummy like him, put a name tag on the effigy, and then set it on fire, it still would warrant a police response, but that too you wouldn't see an arrest.
