Thought it was a great article, but the author got one item wrong: (rantmodeon) The Federal government, FEMA in particular, not only did alot for the folks affected by Hurricane Katrina, they pre-positioned aid, for the first time in FEMA's history, prior to the hurricane hitting land. I know this because IN-TF1 was one of the 21 Task Forces pre-positioned to aid New Orleans. The delay in aid to Louisiana was solely due to the fact that neither the Mayor of New Orleans nor the Governor of Louisiana requested federal aid (aside from *****ing about it over the airwaves) as required by federal law for the Stafford Act to be implemented. In other words, FEMA & George Bush actually bent the statute which requires a Request for Declaration of Disaster to come from a state before federal aid can be started. In fact, the Governor of Louisiana refused to allow out-of-state disaster response resources INTO the state for 24 hours after the extent of the damage in Katrina was known. So, while I agree that Obama didn't do a thing to help in the Gulf Oil spill, George Bush and FEMA did their jobs during the Hurricane Katrina disaster, opinions of the MSM and the Democrat Party to the contrary (rantmodeoff)

One slight correction: parenting isn't being replaced by ritalin and video games. Those are just the diversions so no one notices that the birth parents are replaced with the G men.
