I see that this CZ thread is continuous, are there any 1911 continuous threads?
argh!? I cant get the bushings out of either gun!? The shadows factory bushing is pretty beat up but it wont budge. Double argh!
Crap! I forgot to shut the gate! Oh well, we'll keep him, but the first time he messes on the floor he's out.Did you confiscate his gate key as we discussed in the secret meeting...........
I may have ordered one last night... Couldn't pass at that price. Don't tell anybody.Hey Rusty, did you see the K2 .45 at CDNN for $369? That's a pretty good deal on that gun.
Those antiquated rattle traps don't deserve their own thread.I see that this CZ thread is continuous, are there any 1911 continuous threads?
I got the shadow. I had to use a 7/16 socket and a big t bar allen wrench as a punch with the slide wrapped in leather and in my vise. It was hard to say the least. Now, the TS seems like a bigger challenge. The seam is blended pretty well so it wont catch a punch. Heat gun, tap, heat, tap.... Thats where I am. Makes teeth seem easy.

Don't worry, there is also lots of wheel gun love in here too.I must say it is a odd combination (CZ and 1911), but then again the CZ used some ideas from the Browning Hi-Power.
Right now it's my sitter... Hasn't moved since the salt started flying. Still somewhat "new" to me so have lots of bugs to sort out yet.He must not be too bad if the classic in your avatar is your driver.
That's a common misconception.I must say it is a odd combination (CZ and 1911), but then again the CZ used some ideas from the Browning Hi-Power.
