    .
I've been wondering what type/size percussion caps you use. I know nothing about them but have looked for what's available as I hunt for primers. Zilch so far. Would be nice to know what I'm looking for.
My favorites are RWS #11 when I can get them, they last longer and burn hotter. CCI are OK, but I've got some old ones that I just use for checking to make sure I'll get ignition or clearing the nipples.

I like having Federal primers around even though most of what I use is CCI. Some guns, like the 454 Ruger SRH just won't work well without them.

Been doing yardwork this afternoon. Took a small break and a shower. Now at church.

Get to some gun stuff tonight probably.

Took my Noveske completely apart and sold the quad rail. Looking for a new handguard. Want something around 15" and solid.

Unpacked and settled in for vanilla cones. Took the troops to Brown County state park for hiking and picnic dinner all day. Them little legs don't fail. Eve's short stacks kept up all day.

Correct ..... unless our host has improved the backstop to his satisfaction, Brutus is verboten.
Mike, Brutus is welcome at the 100 yd range. The hill won't have any trouble absorbing .50 cal, and I think after the fortification I've endeavored to make at 400 we may be safe there as well.

Evening, Folks. Got some ammo inbound. Been needing to get some time behind the trigger.
Temperatures are forecast to drop this week with rains moving in. Looks like there should be opportunities to get out and shoot. I have rifles to sight in...again. I need to quit switching things around and to hang tags on guns to show what range each one is sighted in for and with what ammo.
