If it is still up to date, there are some very good prices on Ruger Mark IIIs and Mark IVs. I’m not sure I’ve seen a MkIV Hunter under $500.

Thanks TT! Never have shot Fiocchi but have read favorable reviews so I’ll give a case a shot!

I have shot in various calibers and have never had any issues with it. They make some great shotgun ammo too...

Yep, Fiocchi is good stuff. I've shot a ton of it. If I hadn't just bought another case of the aluminum cased Federal, I'd jump on that deal. That was only a few bucks more than I paid for the Federal.

I got caught with my pants down a couple years back when 9mm prices skyrocketed. I vowed to never let that happen again. Whenever I see it for under 175 a case shipped I jump on it if it's good ammo. Like now I dont even need anymore, I have enough to last me 2 years of constant range trips but I will buy a couple cases at this price. I dont think we will ever see ammo this cheap again In our lifetimes.
Handgun ammo and. 300 blackout ammo is part of my "Trump 3 year victory plan" I call it. If the dems take any house of Congress this November expect ammo and mags to start going way up. So I only planned for 2 years of bliss not 4. Anything past 2 is a blessing and Ill keep buying. Guns will follow but I have all of those I technically "need", everything else is just wants. Gun buying lunacy part of the plan was last year mostly. I went NUTs acquiring specific things on my list. Mags and ammo was slotted (budgetted) for this year but I was able to do a lot of it last year. I have probably 300 pmags in wrappers in plastic totes that I've stocked up. These will be a better investment than the stock market in the near future sadly.
I'm not putting anyone down for not buying ammo. I'm only stating my personal goals ive set.

I think 9/45/40 is going to stay cheap the longest but it won't take much off a legislative shift to turn things upside again.

Limitations on imported ammo (or a Trump tariff) could happen anytime...

Shoulder or waistband? I’d imagine one either has to wear multiple belts to keep the pants up or develops a slouch from the weight at the shoulders.
