    I've been following your comments on this one. I may have to look further into that optic. I assume there is no magic to mounting that on the XL?
    Did the fishbowl effect you mentioned go away under actual shooting conditions?
    No magic. Remove plate, install optic with supplied screws.

    I did not even think about or notice the fishbowl effect during live fire.

    I would be very happy to attend campfire stories with Leadeye. Gather around and learn some history - much better than a documentary! :)

    It was like a interactive, hands on show from the history channel. You ask about one, he hands it to you to inspect, as he tells you the history of it. You then realize that this old gun belongs in the Smithsonian, and you’re trying to set it down, before you hurt it. Then he hands you ammo for it. :D
