I would agree in principle but have doubts about it happening. So far as I can tell, the last time this actually happened and the R's just started chanting 'We won! Happy days are here again!' and didn't do a damned thing toward furthering the agenda of those who put them in office served to eliminate the motivation of those people to continue to support the GOP, and the leadership has doubled down on the philosophy of following the establishment plan and f**k the mere plebeians who voted for them. This is not going to help them gain traction at the ballot box. The days of the Lugars coasting on party affiliation without living up to the image and feeling no need to earn the support they received, and getting away with it, are numbered.

You don't need to be paranoid when you can run roughshod over your 'enemies' even if expecting repsect of the law and one's rights rights makes a person an 'enemy' and you can do this with the media's blessing and silence.

The opening statement is not correct. Nixon spent his entire career trying to protect the soverignity of the United States of America. For all his faults, he was a true patriot. "community organizer" is really a term to describe a paid whinner who finds ways to make productive citizens pay for the losers.
