Ha ha about the Wal-Mart / Dress up bit. Its funny, but there is some sort of dress code women follow for that stuff. I can say that as a happily married man of 5+ years now. The follow is a summary from careful observations of both my wife, and other women I've seen when I've been at those locations.

Dollar Store = PJ's
Grocery Store = T-shirt and sweat pants, hair in a quick pony tail, and no make-up
Wal-Mart = Hair Did (said it like that on purpose), make-up on, and at least a color cooidinated set of flip flops and top. Fingernail / Toenail Polish if "its gonna be a long one"
Mall = Might as well be dress liked I'm going to the club later that night and show a little skin.
