Saw John Wick 3 last night.

There's an actress in it... some chick that looked familiar. She played the Adjudicate. I looked her up and discovered she was that one actress that "famously" identifies herself as "non-binary", and uses "they" pronouns.

Odd, since she clearly was portraying a woman.

Welp. I think we all knew we'd get to this point eventually. SJWs in the Canadian government now say Dodgeball is "oppressive" and promotes "legalized bullying."

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/48036/researchers-dodgeball-teaches-children-unethical-emily-zanotti

The Canadian Society for the Study of Education at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences has decided that dodgeball — the gym class game and rite of passage for most elementary schoolers — is not merely a somewhat dangerous schoolyard pastime, it's a tool designed to teach children an "unethical system of oppression" that "legalizes bullying."

In a totally serious article published in Canada's National Post, researchers argue that social justice demands the complete and total elimination of dodgeball from the Canadian physical education curriculum, lest children grow up to understand they can wield their privilege the way they wield a rubber athletic ball.

The game, the group claims, is “miseducative" and forces students to display "hierarchies of privilege based on athletic skill," even though the game is mostly just about throwing balls at other children.

"Dodgeball is not just unhelpful to the development of kind and gentle children who will become decent citizens of a liberal democracy. It is actively harmful to this process," the researchers claim, adding that the game is, at its core, "oppressive."

I know this is reaching into 3 different threads now... but YouTube has gone wild and are going after big channels. They've already demonetized Steven Crowder today, and they sent this notice to Dave Rubin.

All under the guise of "hate speech"

Call it hate speech, or call it being a disrespectful jerk, meh. As long as the gate swings both ways. And even if it doesn't, why is there an expectation that YouTube should be your mouthpiece?

If YouTube over restricts, another service will fill the vacuum they create.

I'm going to watch some cat videos.

This current adpocalypse with YouTube is steeped in social justice. You will not speak out of line, you will not say what they disapprove of.

The state of the internet today is night and day compared to 6-7 years ago.

If you want to spread a message, social media is the only place. So censorship wave after wave from Twitter, Youtube, Facebook make sure you can't.

Now your alternatives are alt-sites... where everyone already agrees with you. Your different views aren't allowed to be pushed to those that you wish to talk to. Your message is stuck. Artificially held, no outreach, no amplification. That's how this works... small policy by small policy... designed to slowly and methodically **** it all up. People are passive... and don't get angry enough about those small changes. Same goes with 2A.

"Build your own *site*" isn't a realistic option. These outlets are institutions, now. Businesses are expected to have a presence on them. Youtube, facebook, and twitter are radically transformed from what they used to be.

We're seeing a censorship wave that will be the deathknell of the Internet as we know it.

This Carlos Maza Vox guy planned this. He waited for "Pride month", the most leverage, to decide to throw a tantrum and go after Steven Crowder and trigger this.

Brew the beer, show your Clydesdales....other than that, shut the f up.

These days, gay people have to be shaking their heads about the proliferation of sexual preference weirdness.

We get it...you're special and like no one else in the world...

Are they? Or are they doing exactly what "they" knew they would transform into?

Steven Crowder did a live stream today on YouTube to talk about all of this and lay out what they've actually heard from YouTube about the reasons for the demonetization.

As you might guess, it's short on specifics and citations of which guidelines they broke.

I want to put some more thoughts together on this once the replay of the stream is up. But this did push me over the edge to sign up for Crowder's Mug Club program to get all content behind the pay wall, regardless of what happens with the YouTube channel.

They are offering a discount for a year long Mug Club membership. $69 for the year if you use the promo code "Freespeech" between now and midnight on 6/6.

I wonder how long it will be before places like PayPal or Patreon or even banks start refusing service to these “hate speech” types.

    Already happening.

Chase Bank cut off Enrique Tarrio, chairman of the Proud Boys.

Patreon cut off services to Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad).

    Paypal cut off Alex Jones.

On the one hand, they’re privately owned businesses that can do whatever they want. On the other hand, that’s terrifying.
