I voted no because I feel that these rights are absolutes. If you have committed a felony, possibly with a weapon then why are you in a gun store or gun show anyway? Shouldn't you still be behind bars? The right is an absolute that is not to be infringed on.
The background check may keep a criminal from buying his choice of weapon but he can still get a weapon.
