I have lived in my subdivision for 20 years and this is the first time I have seen one of the main streets under water!!

Remind me about that drought we had last summer?

    A holler in Kentucky
My side yard is flooded, water usually stands in the very front yard, but it has overflowed and is now flooding the side.

It rained so hard overnight that it woke me up around 2:30 am, no thunder or lightning, or wind, just HARD hard rain.

Here is a pic one of my friends posted on FB. It is Fred's which is a bar on the Amite River in Port Vincent Louisiana. Not far from some of the actual filming locations.

    iti anunka (In the trees)
is going to be filmed in my backyard.

LOL! I love that show. Sorry to hear about the swamp invasion but I would gladly stand on your back porch and yell "choot 'em, choot 'em".

I about died when we ran thru Gander Mountain and saw a box of .22 ammo that had a photo of Troy Landry...EPIC! As I sit here I have heard the sump pump running about every 10 minutes and it isn't even raining outside.

We don't have cable/satellite, so I've never seen it.

We have 2 sump pumps in our house (2 different below-grade level due to tri-level on a basement). We also have a perimeter drain. The basement one has operated TWICE. Both times were sewer line back ups that filled the pit from the basement floor, not the inlet pipe. It's still dry. The other one has NEVER kicked on (to our knowledge)....until last night. And we've been here just a month shy of 5 years.

Wow. I must be really fortunate. It rained pretty good here but nothing major. A few friends of mine in Greenwood said they had trees down and lost power. I'm only 6 or 7 miles away from there and all we had was some heavy rain for a little bit. Sorry about everybody else who's had issues with it. Our yard is a little soggy but nothing awful.
