This sounds like in 4-5 day or so... i think they are thinking big...possibly, but too far ahead to know for sure.

My sister is going in for her double lumpectomy tomorrow morning. She'll be in overnight. This will be the first Thanksgiving she hasn't had to cook for my BIL's family so she said she's going to milk it as long as she can. She's in good spirits.

We managed to have over an inch of white slush up here for awhile. If it had been cold, I bet we would have had around 8 inches.

I pulled a couple of filets out of the freezer a few minutes ago. Picked up some mushrooms and canned crabmeat at Kroger earlier. Going to make crab-stuffed filets, sauteed mushrooms and maybe crab-stuffed mushroom caps for my Thanksgiving lunch.

I think this will be the first Thanksgiving I've ever spent alone. Always had at least friends over if not family. I'm okay with it this year, although I do wish DoggyMama was gonna be here.

Oooh, that sounds good! I'll just do crabmeat, onions, garlic and crushed croutons sauteed together, then topped with either swiss (if I want to go back to the store) or cheddar (if I don't).
