It's just that people got butthurt in the US when they wanted to add a citizenship question to the census.

Apparently it's not racist if you ask French people if they are citizens or not.

I think that is likely a strictly american form of racism... like asking for ID to vote.

Yeah, we have a special voting card here plus we need to show our ID as well.

In really small towns with less than 3,500 inhabitans you don't have to show ID because folks at the city hall know everybody.

The voting card is signed by the mayor and gets stamped when we vote.That's two documents with our name on it.
