Back from my visit with DoggyMama. She's in a lot of pain but the Occupational Therapist(s) and the Physical Therapist got her up and walked her across the room a couple of times, and had her sit in a regular chair for half an hour. She said her legs already felt some better, although still a little wobbly of course. Right arm has more feeling in it already but still has some numbness in her left.

The pain is really just at the site of the surgery itself, which is to be expected. Hopefully the inflammation will start going down and that will improve. I've got to go get a shower chair before she comes home. We had just gotten rid of one from her mom and dad's house when they moved out too. D'oh! Guess we weren't thinking ahead.

Appreciate the offer red, but as luck would have it, her brother called me while I was at Walmart and he has their mom's chair. I forgot we had taken it to his house after their move so we're all set.

I stopped in the little farm stand near me on the way to visit DoggyMama this morning and picked up 4 ears of corn. Got a top sirloin thawing out on the counter. That'll be my lunch for the next two days.
