Plumbing, boats, they all have to do with water so by nature they suck.

glad you got it going. That's sounds like what I would do.

If the pressure switch didn't just happen to be on the other side of the wall from my bed, there's no telling how long it would have gone on before I knew about it. Hearing that thing click on and off while I was trying to sleep was driving me ! If it weren't for that, the pump would probably burn up before I knew anything was wrong.

On the upside, at least it wasn't a bad pipe in the slab.

Think "hipsters", or Big Bang Theory's "Howard".

I know right?! Dealing with that makes replacing a $400 pump sound pretty good! I have a valve I can shut off right after the pressure switch that allows me to cut off the water to the house. Even with that shut off the pressure was still dropping. That told me the problem was not in the house plumbing. That was a major relief.

I stink. Time for a shower. I was just relaxing for a few after another hard day at work plus a major home repair after. On the plus side, since I've already worked so many hours this week, I get a 3 day weekend! :rockwoot:

After my shower, I should sleep better tonight not having to listen to that pressure switch clicking and that pump humming every minute or so!

Just heard back from my taxidermist. I had a deer wrapped up in my freezer for 4 years, dropped it off yesterday and today he called and said he got it skulled and not a speck of freezer burn. Woot looks like not only do I have hog going on the wall but a deer also.
