so I was mid sentence typing that, I look up and Max has something sticking out both sides of his mouth. I don't yell, I just say "Max, what have you got? Take it outside buddy" As I am getting up, he drops it on the living room floor. A dead bird. Neighbors got to see my tromp across the back yard to the alley in my jammies this morning. I used to hate picking up critters, dead or alive. I've gotten pretty good at it now
