So, insurance is going to clamp down.

There is a lot of that too. I guess I could understand if we had a lot of claims, but have NEVER had a claim and pay for full replacement insurance.

Insurance is always there to collect your premium. Not necessarily there to pay when you need it. Unfortunate but true.

We may end up with a new roof from the hail that came through in May. Roof is only 4 years old though so I would rather wait a few years.

EVERY SINGLE neighbor that I've told I need a new roof, ALL told me to have my insurance pay for it. The roof is at least 20 years old. Probably closer to 30. It's not an insurance issue.
