    My yard doesn't drain well. It's still squishy since we've had about 6 inches of rain recently. Luckily, my f-i-l was nice enough to come down with his riding mower and cut the jungle for us today.

    Now, I really wish I could be out shooting or riding, but I can't do either at the moment. :xmad::laugh:

    I tick the wife off though. She thinks every little piece of a branch or bark on the ground should be picked up. Today was the first mowing so there was a bunch of the stuff. I just pick up the big stuff and run over the rest. I figure that's the reason I have a big John Deere rider.

    My yard is squishy too, wasn't able to mow the back half yet but got the majority done just in time for more rain tonight and tomorrow. :rolleyes:

    I wish I could fence mine, turn some sheep and goats out with chickens. I would have a good excuse for not mowing then.
