If I could only have one, not including the new legion that I haven't shot yet, it would probably be my M11-a1. I can carry it concealed and is fun to shoot with the short reset trigger.

228(German or W. German) and no not the M11-A1 which isn't a true 228. I've got 3x 228s and they shoot & handle great. 15+1 capacity isn't bad either in a compact form.

In the military I have carried the TRUE M11, which is just a P228 and I like it. I've considered buying a M11-A1 from sig, but like you, think I'll stick to the true P228.

Not sure if this is a Sig Sauer only thread but here are my "Sigs".

Models -1, -4, -2 and -6. The first three are from the early to mid-1950's and have no import marks. I fire them regularly and they are everything you've ever read or heard in terms of accuracy. The last one is from the mid 80's and is NIB along with the .22 matching numbers conversion kit and will stay that way.

So all you Sig psykos, if you could only have one.... Which is it?

Of all I have and have had, the one I'd keep right now is the P938. It's not my favorite and it's not the best, but it's a gun that I'd have trouble replacing the most based on what it brings to the table. 7+1 rounds of 9mm in a pocket sized gun that's fun to shoot is hard to come by anywhere else. Sure, a Glock 43 comes close, but I want a safety on pocket carry guns.

I need to shoot that sometime :)

We picked up a P238 for my stepdaughter and she loves it. I've always wanted to shoot a P938.

I'm a total SIG person. They just feel right.
I get yelled at by my main instructor that I'm going to throw that first shot... just get a Glock (I do have a few) ...blah blah blah. Wish I didn't like SIG so much ($$$) but they are what fits me, point great for me and feel better than any other pistol...to me. (although that VP9 could be a nice side piece in a pinch...yeeesh, I shoot that better than I have any right to)
