    In the country, hopefully.
It's easy to be a socialist in a free country. Try being free in a socialist country.

You can only share freedom with those that also share reverence for freedom.
Enabling those who's pledged mission in life is dismantling that freedom, will get you exactly what you ask for.

Just because we equate individual rights with firearms doesn't mean they do.

Guns are tools...like hammer and sickle. One does not have to believe in individual rights to own guns. One only need believe that they need guns to accomplish their goal.

Those that would sacrifice liberty for security deserve to be called out on it.

Sra is really guarded. I've seen casual get togethers like the one pictured from members here. They really aren't big in Midwest, as you get into the pnw you find much more serious group. I've since been banned from all the ancillary Sra groups for being a member of other groups, Facebook is a weird place. One chapter has a group of veterans and Leo's that ran very serious training events.

Like most groups though, you'll find public pictures in public groups, generally just casuals plinking with poor form.

Gun wise the group was as good as most social media private groups. Lots of cheap jaga, but a lot of people that outgeared me and most of the ingo population.

They regularly purge non socialist people so it's a full time job to get into the private groups.

Do these Veterans and LEO's know who they are training?

    Yeah it’s a real thing!
    https://socialistra.org/

Don’t feed into the idea socialist are wimps and cannot fight some are well trained and equipped. I posted quite a bit about this in the ANTIFA thread many left wing groups are armed and ready.

Here is another national group that IMO is far more dangerous https://www.redneckrevolt.org/.
I could go on all day but you guys get the picture.

    BTW
BLM is tied into many of the groups if anyone didn’t know they are a Socialist organization that is anti capitalism.

    A few thoughts:
it makes me a little nervous to see this. Even though they seem to be poorly trained, they've still got guns and could still use them. I've taken some comfort with the idea that all the big government liberals were anti-gun hippies who would runnoft if confronted with one. Guess I should probably take some kind of carbine class.

You can see the pure hypocrisy in the position here. Obviously not the first time we've seen it. Armed security for me, but you give up your guns.

    Sorry, a bit confused.

Are you pointing out that certain people are saying the self-described socialists shouldn't have guns, while those saying that would be allowed to have them?

Are they in Shannon and Mikey's crosshairs though? If guns are impermissibly dangerous then they should be taking on armed leftists as well...

Worth mentioning the John Brown Gun Club also: https://psjbgc.org/

"We believe in active resistance to the corrosive and destructive social effects of white supremacy, sexism, bigotry, and economic exploitation.

We stand in defense of the well-being of the community over the enrichment of the individual, and we stand in solidarity with those who share our mission for a just future."

So what happens if one of these groups does get violent? I'm guessing we suddenly see a resurgence of an AWB, with support from both parties. They'll HAVE to do something to make us all safe.

The majority of people in this thread sound like wokened when they talk about 3%, Oath Keepers, NRA etc. I've been in more exhausting conversations with folks in my personal circle explaining "No, the Oath Keepers aren't Nazis" than I care to remember.

How can people lawfully exercising their RKBA be a bad thing on a gun ownership forum. Totally lost here. What's with the pearl clutching?

    Indeed

Mao Tse Tung said 'Change must come from the barrel of a gun'. Tough to visualize him as a 2A or natural rights supporter

Speaking for myself (and maybe others), it's not that they're armed, it's what they advocate + being armed. These are the same antifatistas that have been rioting and calling for burning the country down so they can build their communist dystopia on it's ashes.
Likewise, I'm not thrilled with BLM, NFOC, or the "new black panthers" being armed (or crips and bloods for matter) but from what I've seen of "black guns matter", they are good neighbors
