    Nice article, but he missed a couple of the biggest lies. For instance, gun control advocates like to say that we have an unprecedented epidemic of gun violence in the US. Truth is, violent crime is down to a 51 year low in the US. Not only that, but the rise in violence is generally in sync with any anti-gun activity and a drop in violence is in sync with pro-gun laws being passed.

    It's a good start for those looking to educate themselves. The biggest one that I feel he did not address was "40% of gun sales take place without background checks", as that gets thrown around a lot. Once you address the point that the survey was of under 300 people, covered a period of time before the NICS was in place, and lumped together gifted firearms, inherited firearms, etc. in with purchased firearms then that number shrinks drastically.

    Others to address are;
    - anyone can buy a gun online and have it shipped to their door
    - gunshow loophole (people get real astonished when you explain that it does not exist. FFLs still have to perform background checks, private citizens are under no obligation to do so)
    - the No Fly No Buy proposal
    - the 3 day hold (Charlestown Loophole)
    - the 2A was never meant to cover advances in technology (if you ignore the pucklegun, Belton flintlock, Gandoni air rifle while at the same time believing that the Founding Fathers foresaw the internet)
    - the 2A is only for militias (because somehow "the people" means militia in the Second Amendment, but in all other documents it means the people)

    I agree with the sentiments above. It's absolutely ludicrous that Concealed Carriers are thought of as crazy, paranoid unnecessary nuts. The good shepherd is needed to take action and protect the just. I'd rather have law abiding citizens carrying concealed who are there on the scene rather than wait for the boys in blue to show up. We need more good men with guns since we have so many bad men with guns imposing their will on our society...
