I've started well over a dozen threads here so, I guess I will keep them all here moving forward, so I don't clutter it up anymore than I have...

    Tonight...

    BOC Mod II's.

These still need to be logo etched and acid etched, but coming along nicely. The field reports are generally positive... Well except this photo...

Beyond that, the SPK and next Slicer are cut and ready for bevels. Need to finish the profile for the first Damascus blade, and also got some Black and Green G10 layered BOC's started..

Nice opener. Reminded me to dig out my custom bottle opener. Friend of mine ran a laser cutter at a mill. He gave out a handful of shark bottle openers he ran for fun on some scrap steel.

Today's progress was a bit of an uphill battle, but I'll take the small victories!

Worked on No. 30 and got the bevels started, this SPK is getting some Cedar scales I'm thinking.

Also got No. 31, another slicer going. Both 30 and 31 will be getting the heat late tonight or early in the morning when it's cooler out.

The latest batch of BOC Mod. II is done. Although I've only got a 2 left as of now. These things are proving to be popular.

Nothing much to report today. No. 32 a Damascus Reissue of No. 2 is roughed out. Been grinding bevels and getting a few ready to heat treat at once. Been avg. 92 with a heat index of 110's, so work has been tough to do. Praying for some days in the 80's...

OOH that wood is awesome looking. perfect match for a damascus blade.

side note you should build ya a forge hot enough to forge weld so you can knock out your own damascus and save some money. I still havent made a damascus billet by myself but have done a few welds in some of my dads its quite a bit of fun.
