I am a handgun guy, I always have been. At Christmas my father in law. Surprised me with a ruger 10/22. I have been interested in them, because they would be inexpensive to shoot. I did a google search on 10/22 assecories (man there are a lot) and ran across this scope ( BSA Sweet .22 3 - 9x40 mm Scope Matte Black:Amazon:Sports & Outdoors ) thought it was a good deal and bought it. Now that I have it I realize I know less than nothing about scope mounts. I know it has a 1 inch tube so I need 1 inch rings. But, with all the different mounting option I am lost. I was hoping some one could give me a run down on what kind of mounts are good. I have looked a through mounts and integrated mounts and high/medium/low mounts and am just completely lost. I have done a bunch of google searches and may have absorbed too much information at once. If any one could provide some insight I would be enternaly grateful
