Thinking of picking up another Marlin 60

A local gun shop has one just like the one I have for $110 except the internals are in better shape then mine. I could make the one I have now a "display" and use the new one as a shooter for scope shooting.

Nothing wrong with the little Marlins..But branch out a little! Look for an ugly Remington 550-1 or a 552...They will feed shorts,longs ect. and are even better rifles IMO.

Funny thing is some jack hole seller will be asking $200 or more for one.

OP if you want it for $110, maybe you can haggle a little and say you'll take it for $100 plus tax, the shop will probably bite.

Lotta dead squirrels cause of the marlin 60.! 80 bucks was the going rate back in the day. 110 would be a good price.

Marlin 795 with tech-sights - literally the best bang for your buck... ever. Get one and go to an Appleseed event and outshoot the guy (or gal) next to you that brought a 10/22 with a 1,000 dollars in mods.

If you can find a good pre 1989 Marlin60 buy it. The newest models aren't as good as the older ones. I'm with Tyler, if I could buy a crate of 60's I would
