Pulled my onions yesterday. Just little small things. Worst harvest ever.
Zukes died off early from some disease, worst ever.
beans and corn doing great this year.

Our onions did not do well at all. The ones that came up are tiny.

We are taking some nice red tomato's from a couple of the plants and the other are full of green fruit.

I gave up and picked my onions too, last weekend. I got a couple of decent ones, but most were like golf balls.

I dug my garlic last week and it seems to be in pretty good shape. And, I dug a few potatoes and I was pleasantly surprised at those too.

This has been the worst year I think I've ever had with tomatoes.

I planted mine last fall at the usual time, but I ended up digging it two weeks later than I normally do, and some of the leaves were still green when I hung it up to dry. I don't know if it was the rain or maybe because the bed I put it in is on the shady side. Anyway, the bulbs look good. I think this was my 15th year planting the same garlic.

Getting buried with tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers. Wife can't can fast enough.

Never have tried onions or garlic, maybe something new for next year.

We usually have the best onions. Daughter and the spouse use them a lot and delicious.
    This year they just sucked.

Tomatoes aren't producing as much as normal, nor are the peppers or eggplant. Plenty of green beans though....

What is in the jar? Is that some dehydrated peppers?
Also, is that a tomato sauce roll up? Never seen such a thing, but now I am curious!

Sorry, a fail on the description.

Yes, roadside bought sweet corn and my own tomato/pepper/herb leathers.

The corn is a very handy addition to darn near anything that might go into the crock pot or simmer for a while otherwise. The tomato leather is a tomato base for soup on it's own, chowders, stews, etc. More experimenting to do with it, but I prefer the form/texture over just sliced dehydrated tomatoes. I have yet to try it on a sandwich as suggested.

Onions did not do good at all this year, nor have the bell peppers. But tomatoes are in abundance. Cantalope vines and leaves turned brown never had this happen before??

Of the almost 200 onions that I planted, I got maybe five that got to tennis ball size. The rest averaged around golf-ball size.

My peppers started off looking bad, and a lot of the leaves fell off from fungal blight, but they have been looking a lot better the past few weeks and I should have a good late-season harvest.

My half-runner beans were a total loss. I picked almost a bushel of beans, but most were so hard and woody that I ended up throwing them all on the compost.

We put out well north of 100 onions and maybe 10% were even edible.

Picked up some less than fresh roadside sweet corn. Used my own onions, bell and jalapeno peppers to make it into corn relish.
