If they never found the guy legally carrying we cant rule out conditioning or desensitizing ppl for the police state, kinda along the line of military ops in major cities.

Yeah, since he was carrying concealed he probably walked right by the cops as they were assembling outside the building and shooting each other in the foot.
And I am still wondering about logic of using fully armed and battle ready SWAT teams and similarly equipped LEO's locking down an entire campus and searching the students over a call reporting a man carrying concealed in a state that has concealed carry.
And since CT has concealed carry, EXACTLY what were the Po - lice going to do if they found the guy and he was legal except for being on campus. Arrest him for walking across the campus legally? Have a squad of LEO's escort him off campus for violating campus firearm policy?
The disturbing thing is that people in CT think this was a reasonable response in a case of EPIC overkill of GALACTIC proportions. The students were apparently in greater danger FROM THE LOCAL COPS.
Man talk about a "Keystone Cop Fire Drill." And all questions that should have been asked by the gov't lapdog media.
I hope they were suitably embarrassed. I pray our IN LEO's maintain their common sense and never embarrass us with a news story such as this.
You would think according to the feds it shoots "safe booooolets" too.....
I'd tell them to go pound sand regardless of whether I was armed or not. I would not consent to such a search. If they want to detain me, they can charge me, or they can let me go.
And how about the girl the news interviewed that said her parents had to talk into going back to school the next day? WOW! What does that say about college kids these days?
why does stupid have to be so contagious?
Because it is a path of least resistance that comes with a strong illusion of safety and security.

I agree, but they probably weren't.
I hope not too, but, you never know.
