IMO, this is actually a valid question, as many Americans (especially H.S. students) do not know.

My daughter told me that her Senior year in H.S., a similar poll had been made of the students. Near all of them could name 3 superhero's, and name 3 Transformers. But many of them could not even name the first branch of government, let alone the other 2.
Unfortunately, the public school system is more focused on teaching students how to be good little global citizens, and followers, than free thinking individuals. The subjects of constitutional republic and US History have been so skewed, that many students are entirely misinformed from the start, and many do not even care.

There's a difference between not TEACHING it and not LEARNING it. I'm betting on the latter.

I have a 7th and a 12th grader in school. It amazes me what they do and don't teach. It is nothing like when I was in school.

I think it was mentioned to us in 8th grade once or twice, but I can't recall any in-depth studying of how our government works in high school.

North, South, East, and West? No. That's the cardinal directions of the compass.

Sleepy, Dopey, and Grumpy? No. Those are dwarves.

Left, Right, and Moderate? No. Those are factions.

    Republican, Democrat, and Super-Democrat/Socialist?

I'm not gonna watch the video. I've seen too many videoes of Americans being stupid lately to be able to tolerate another. Tell me, did anyone get Legislative, Executive, and Judicial?
