Really? I never new that. Back in the '90s a good friend of mine used to go on and on about Tippmann Pneumatics and paintball guns as he was an avid paintball fan and somehow had an "in" with the family. I've also heard stories about sewing machines and several other local gossip stories about the Tippmanns.
I don't know them personally, but that 9mm Gat is pretty cool.
It’s an interesting history. The family started with Gatling guns until ‘86 when something changed in the laws and they got into paintball guns. The paintball lasted until 2004 where they sold to Summit Partners. They are running Tippmann Arms as well now which makes M4-22s.
