Just a friendly reminder that now is the time to make sure we are ramped up for the challenges winter weather may impose on us. Not that I am insinuating anyone reading this is less than fully prepared, rather to start a post to prompt feedback on something I may have forgotten.

Chainsaw, extra chains, sharpener, and gas/oil
Kerosene heater, extra wicks, and fuel
    Firewood
    Propane tanks filled
    Anti-freeze
Flashlights and batteries, and more batteries
    Generator tested
Neccesary cords and recepticals for genny
    Oil lamps and fuel

I am sure to have left something out, which is the reason for the post. And here is hoping that we don't need any of it.

I was thinking more in lines of the home front, although some of the items kept in the trunk could serve double duty if you were stuck at home.
