Took that special girl shooting

We went a few months ago but finally found the camera to post pics. She didn't group well and needs a smaller rifle (that 10/22 was my first). I need to find a .22 handgun, she keeps wanting to shoot one. Her eye protection was a pair of Batman sunglasses. The earmuffs were so big she wore ear plugs as well. I wish stores stocked things like that for actual CHILDREN.

As an uncle to five young shooters I have found that:

1. Length of pull and weight are controlling for kids' guns. I recommend the CZ 452 Scout or the Savage Cub.

2. Dillon Reloading sells an optimally sized eye/ear protection set.

Youre teaching them well ,the finger off trigger & pointing downrange .I miss the days where I was teaching my boys firearm discipline & letting them shoot out behind my brothers house. Both are off to college now so Im going to try to get Mrs. drgnrobo out to shoot with me more. Kids are priceless & memories like this never are forgotten.

I got those glasses for Aidan, my 6 year old. He liked them so much and they fit so good, we went back and got a pair of the smoked lens ones for him to use as sunglasses. As far as the ear muffs, he uses the red muffs from Harbor freight. i believe they are under $5 and they work quite well, especially for the .22.
