Trailer License / title Q

I bought a decent 4x7 utility trailer yesterday in Kentucky. Kentucky does not license or title small trailers . Has anyone had to get an Indiana license/title for a trailer bought out of state with no license/title ? If so what's the procedure ?

Homemade or factory built, did you get a bill of sale?

If you have Bill of sale, do a VIN check first then go to BMV.

Homemade is more complicated.

Bought a trailer out of Ohio a few years back with only a bill of sale. BMV gave me a form and told me to have a LEO fill it out after verifying serial #s. I returned to BMV with paperwork, paid fees and they issued a registration and mailed me an Indiana title.
