Someone please explain what a "trainer supporter" banner denotes?
I don't think there is any vetting to get a trainer supporter badge. I noticed it was an option for me to get one and I am certainly not a trainer. It made me leery of trusting the banner without checking with others. Which is natural anyway, for me.

I believe when that started it was to attract trainers to participate on the forum without having to pony up as much as a full on business advertising.

But as you state, makes sense to vet them yourself due to that.
