    I didn't read every page on this topic so perhaps it's explained - but curiosity begs the question. What is the purpose of teaching (or someone taking) a class on, what appears to be, how to "pick a lock ?"

    These two classes are not our core curriculum. But they are a lot of fun to teach and even more fun to take.

    Good people tend to trust mechanical locks more than they should. I think there is real value in learning that locks simply keep honest people honest.

    I thought I had it down in class. I was opening the five pin locks. I came home and couldn't get through my front door. Good for my door, I guess. It takes a lot of practice.
