They announced it via email and their website a while ago. Maybe they weren't getting the sign ups they had hoped for and announced it here last minute. IDK. I am only going to the morning seminar portion. I have a family reunion in the afternoon.

We realized that we had been neglecting our INGO brothers and sisters :(. I took his class the last time he was here at Kodiak and plan to take it again tomorrow.

    See you there.

So glad I went to this. Mr. White is a complete and total badass. He's around 70 but I think he could still kick my ass if he so desired. Definitely a chance to listen to a true legend speak on what has gotten him through gunfights time and time again. I missed him the first time...shame on me. If you missed him both times, shame on you.

No doubt. Frank White lived the life Steven Seagal pretends to have lived. What a treat. They just don't make them like that anymore. If they did, America wouldn't be the place for them. We no longer need people like this. I wish I could do a detailed AAR on this but I am not sure how. Frank presented a ton of material that he has taught to many agents and officers mixed with stories of his adventures. At no time did it seem like he was bragging, but I was amazed at how open he was. I dare not repeat most of the stuff here, because taken out of context some liberal would get a hold of it and make a federal case out of it. (literally) If any of you have read Col. Askins book Unrepentant Sinner, think that, a couple of decades later, and without Askins physcopathic tendencies. My only regret is that there wasn't more question and answer time.

This is the second time that I have taken his course. He added some law information that wasn't in the last class (which was outstanding). If you did take the course this time, I would recommend taking it a again as I'm sure he will be presenting different information, I know I will. For those that missed it, I would not miss out if we are able to host Mr. White for a 3rd time.

I met Frank White a few times in the late 80's when I was an instructor at RTB. DEA was involved in Snow Cap back then and Mr. White came down to Ft. Benning a couple of times to help us establish a course of instruction for the agents being deployed down south. We put them through a 6 week "mini Ranger School" tailored to their needs for LE work in the jungle. I was part of the cadre for the first class and the agents that attended were all 10-8 but they all were in awe of Frank White. Hell of a Man.

We had fun talking to him, not really having a clue about his history. He'd drop a little nugget here and there and we'd be like what??

We were seeing how everyone was doing on ammo, since we basically shot in the first day what they said we'd shoot over the weekend.

When the instructor asked Frank how much ammo he had left he said "enough to shoot until the end of september"

The instructor would say "bring 3 full mags", Frank would have his BDU pockets full with another 15 1911 mags.

He talked some about Vietnam, then the CIA, then when we were wrapping up and doing the AAR, he told us that he was the one who killed the real "scarface" and his brother, who's name I can't remember. Then something about the 1911 that's featured in the video above.

I had fun messing with him because he would never "flinch" at the beginning of the drills. LOL, then he said something along the lines of "when you've been doing this for as long as I have... you don't flinch, you draw and shoot".

    Twas quite awesome.
