It seems that for a FFL transfer most shops are charging $25 to $35. Does that sound about right? I had a shop in Noblesville tell me $50 which I think is too high.

$25 is about average. Less for LEO's and good customers.

Call around shops in Indy. It's probably worth a half tank of gas to travel a bit.

One in Vincennes charges $25 and another charges $10. I've heard the $25 average as well.

Terre Haute Guns in Terre Haute charges 10.

I was looking thru a list of LGS in Massachusetts and found at least on that charged 10% of the price of the weapon.

There's a place in Bloomington (Four Seasons Gun Shop) that charges only $15.

The LGS's around here (north) all charge at least $50. I won't pay that and find a cheaper FFL without the store front.

South Bend

Kodiak Shooting Range in South Bend charged $20. They called me quickly when the item came in, and handled the paperwork in a matter of minutes. If I can't find it locally, they will get my business again.
