Hey everyone, I just purchased a Ruger SR1911 and can't figure out what size Allen wrench it takes to adjust trigger over travel screw, any help would be appreciated.thanks.

Honestly - the easiest way would be to just try several out and see which one fits? Do you have a few sets to just cycle through?

If that just doesn't seem to work, don't count out the fact it may be metric. If you don't have any I recommend the "Eklind" brand, made in usa and you can find everywhere.

I think mine came with an allen wrench. Never got around to adjusting mine. I've only put 2 mags thru it and that was 4 years ago i think..maybe longer. Such a sweet shooter with low recoil.

I found it telling that the Platypus doesn't have an overtravel screw in the trigger. Trigger is excellent but I'm sure it took some extra time to make that happen. My guess would be they're trying to preclude any "operator errors" in the field and probably a good idea.
